With this communication, the G-ID intended to strengthen Laboratory’s research effort and facilitate the use of new innovative technologies to respond more efficiently to the major challenges confronting industry today. We remain committed to pursuing research projects in collaboration with universities, laboratories and companies to advance gemmological knowledge. We aim to be among frontline gemmological laboratories in the world by 2025.

Our research covers a wide spectrum of gem industry challenges, including but not limited to, detection of treatment for ruby and sapphire, new gems deposits and their characteristics, origin determination of gemstones utilized approach of artificial intelligence, identification of diamond treatment and synthetics.
