“G-ID’s mission is to provide a higher level of accuracy and reliable gemstone testing and evaluation with the highest internationally recognized standards and services to maintain the integrity of the gem and jewellery industry”

To achieve these objectives, the laboratory will:

1. Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Standards: Operate in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ensuring professionalism and good practice in all activities.

2. Continuous Improvement: Continuously develop and enhance the quality system and testing techniques to ensure superior performance and reliability.

3. Personnel Training and Application: Ensure that all personnel involved in testing activities are knowledgeable about the quality system documents and apply the relevant policies and procedures in their work.

4. Independent Operation: Manage the system to allow all personnel to work independently, free from external pressures that could impact the results and accuracy of the testing process.

5. Systematic and Standardized Testing: Perform tests systematically using internationally recognized methods, maintaining competence, honesty, neutrality, and consistent performance throughout all procedures.

G-ID adheres to numerous regulatory bodies, both at the national and international levels, and is committed to pursuing ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. This accreditation is recognized globally as the highest standard for quality in testing laboratories. By aligning our Quality Management System with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, we ensure the accurate implementation of our testing processes. Furthermore, we continually assess opportunities and risks to provide our clients with a comprehensive range of services. We are dedicated to ongoing improvement in the field of gem and precious metal testing by embracing the latest methodologies, fostering innovation, and developing new test methods through close collaborations with our academic partners. G-ID aims to achieve ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, anticipated to be granted in late 2023.
